Credits are the usage units used to generate audio. Each request consumes a certain number of credits depending on the model and the number of characters processed.
For example:
1 credit ≈ 1,000 characters using Gemini 2.5 Flash .
With the Gemini-2.5-Flash model,
1 credit generates approximately 1,000 characters of audio.
If you use the Gemini-2.5-Pro model,
the system consumes 2 credits per 1,000 characters because of the higher audio quality.
The two models offer different balances between speed, cost, and quality.
